Peugeot created a legend which is now 25 years old. Arguably THE best ‘hot hatch’ and affordable GTI ever mass-produced, the Peugeot 205 GTI, has a dedicated fan base across the world, spanning from the UK to Australia.

A group of these 205 GTI enthusiasts has organised an epic trip – possibly even the driving trip of a lifetime – involving approx 2,400 miles (3,840 km) of driving across Europe to celebrate this fantastically rewarding driver’s car, and also to raise money for the charity Help for Heroes.

The trip takes place between the 1st and 10th May this year, and so far involves nearly 80 cars from the UK, Poland, Holland, Italy, Slovenia, Romania, Croatia and Bosnia to name a few, and is gaining popularity and commitment every day.

It will be quite a tribute to Peugeot, and hopefully an enjoyable and successful fund raiser for an extremely worthwhile charity which is fully supported by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson and his wife.

Welcome to the official EuroTrip web-site. Support us please, if you can.

Where We're Going
We will be travelling roughly 2,400 miles from Dover, to Pula in Croatia and back again. We have organised the route to not only get together many of the 205 GTI fans across Europe, but to drive some of the best and most rewarding roads in the world. Some of these roads appear on Top Gear’s, extremely popular, The World’s Best Driving Road episode, such as the San Bernardino Pass in Switzerland and Davos to Stelvio in Italy.

This is the environment that the 205 GTI was built for, and we’re going to hit it big style.

Great roads; great sights; great company and an epic journey. Bring it on.

The Charity, Help for Heroes (H4H)
The ONLY financial benefactor of the EuroTrip is the Help for Heroes (H4H) charity, which supports injured British servicemen and women. H4H has become, in the words of the British Prime Minister, ‘a National Institution’. Since October 2007, they have raised £1 million a month to help support wounded servicemen and women injured in current conflicts.

Several 205 GTI fans are members of the British Armed Forces, including the event organiser, who himself has just returned from two, almost back-to-back operational tours of conflict and casualty-rife Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

Having witnessed the trauma and injury sustained by mines and similar explosive devices, as well as traditional combat injuries, he and many others are highly motivated to help those who return to family and friends with damage to limbs and eyesight, rehabilitate and regain their active lives.

This is precisely where H4H and the hard working teams of specialists at locations such as Headley Court need your help.

So What Now?
Well, we’re going; that’s all there is to it. The UK team are booking their ferries (13 cars are booked at this time), and arrangements are being made by securing event sponsors to either support the event logistically, make a simple donation to Help for Heroes or indeed both.

If you or your business can offer some support, even if it’s merely a H4H donation, we will include your graphics and company logo on some of the cars themselves and the support vehicle. We will gladly wear your corporate merchandising to support and promote your company – strictly in return for a H4H charity donation quite naturally – and/or include your details on this website, the sponsor forms and any other form of public relations (PR) and publicity activities that we can practically be involved in.

This surely has to be an incredible opportunity to support an excellent cause, or for your company to gain simply fantastic value PR and publicity to promote your business.

All you need to do now is either make a donation (there is a 'donate' button top left of each page) or get in contact to discuss how we can help each other.

Thank You
